We are currently seeking <strong>Apprentice Structural Welders </strong>to join our Fabrication Shops in Airdrie, AB.</p><p>We offer day, evening and weekend shifts with excellent premiums for evening and weekend day shifts. If you are a looking to grow with a company who values work-life balance this may be the position for you. </p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine layout requirements.</li><li>Read all types of welding symbols</li><li>Welding of all types of structural materials using FCAW and SMAW processes</li><li>Have valid CWB certification In FCAW to a least G3 Vertical position prior to start date</li><li>Fabricating skids supports platforms ladder stairs handrails etc.</li><li>Cutting gouging grinding of all types of structural materials</li><li>Setup operating and cleanup of equipment Saw Ironworker Welding Machine FCAW feeder etc.</li><li>Listen and be receptive to instructions and work to achieve set goals, action plans and timelines for project completion.</li><li>Apply knowledge and skills learned from coaches and mentors to ensure completion of the apprenticeship program.</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Be eligible for registration as a registered apprentice; or</li><li>Be a registered apprentice.</li><li>Motivated and willing to learn.</li><li>As a condition of employment, employees are required upon hire to sign a Drug-Free Workplace Agreement, a Conflict of Interest Agreement and Confidentiality and Invention Agreement.</li></ul><p><strong>Propak Systems Ltd. </strong>thanks all applicants for their interest however only those selected for an interview will be contacted.</p><p><em>No Phone Calls Please</em></p></p></p>
