We identify , through constant research , the most advanced technologies and the latest trends , so that we can eventually incorporate them in our unique products .</p><p>GEOX, the shoe that breathes, is always on the lookout for talented, ambitious, motivated, and dynamic individuals to become part of our team:</p><p><strong>WHY WORK WITH US!</strong></p><ul><li>Merchandise discount program</li><li>Career advancement</li><li>Group benefit plan</li></ul><p><strong>Job title</strong>: Assistant Manager</p><p><strong>Reports to: </strong> Store Manager</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><strong><em>PEOPLE MANAGEMENT</em></strong></p><ul><li>On-boarding: positively integrate new and promoted employees within the team and promote accelerated productivity</li><li>Training: provide ongoing formal and informal training on GEOX Service Model, technologies, patents and new company initiatives to foster exceptional performance</li><li>Evaluating: conduct daily/weekly ongoing evaluation using the Performance Tools to share informal and formal feedback for continuous improved performance</li><li>Scheduling: live management of the schedule to react to business trends and manage payroll costs</li><li>Fun Atmosphere – foster a fun and motivating work environment by building positive relationships & maintaining open two-way communication channels with the team and Head Office</li></ul><p><em>SALES & STORE OPERATIONS</em></p><p><strong>Sales Analysis: </strong></p><ul><li>Analyze and review all store sales reports and action to maximize sales opportunities</li></ul><p>Inventory Management:</p><ul><li>Follow, understand and execute all inventory handling procedures in a timely manner, including consolidations, recalls, markdowns and shipment receiving</li><li>Maintain accurate store inventory including movements, processing damages, mismates, and investigating negative on hands</li><li>Loss Prevention & Security: follow all operating and cash management policies & procedures to protect store assets and minimize loss, including proper administration</li><li>Maintain Health & Safety Standards:</li><li>Follow all health & safety standards to maintain a safe work environment for all staff and customers, including submitting incident reports as required</li><li>Ensure all store staff follow ladder safety policy</li></ul><p><em>Store Set-up & Organization:</em></p><ul><li>Set up all areas of the store such as stockrooms, cash desks, communication boards and operational binders to standard</li><li>Keep all areas of the store organized, including stockrooms, POP storage, bathrooms, and store administration</li></ul><p><em>Communication:</em></p><ul><li>Maintain all staff communication boards with current and up-to-date information</li><li>Effective email management to share relevant corporate and store information with the store team</li><li>Participate in management and store meetings to align the team on sales and operational objectives and achieve budgets</li><li>Measures of Performance: Store Sales Results, Store Inventory Results, Health & Safety Audit Results, Incident Reports, Discrepancy Reports, Store Visit Report</li></ul><p><strong><em>CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE</em></strong></p><p>Service Model Ambassador</p><ul><li>Lead by example</li><li>Ensure every team member delivers the GEOX Service Model in every customer interaction in a friendly, helpful and sincere way that results in an exceptional shopping experience</li><li>Resolve customer service discrepancies in a positive and professional manner for a win/win outcome</li><li>Leverage all customer services to build further loyalty by capturing every customer e-mail to build Benefeet database and offering GEOX@Home where necessary</li></ul><p><em>Visual Merchandising Ambassador</em></p><ul><li>Ensure all corporate visual directives are read, understood and applied by all staff</li><li>Uphold brand presentation by maintaining visual standards at all times</li><li>Ensure store visual standards are adapted to react to the business results while preserving brand integrity</li><li>Uphold physical store maintenance standards in order to create a functional, safe, clean and brand propelling store environment</li></ul><p><em>Brand Ambassador </em></p><ul><li>Passionate and knowledgeable of all GEOX technologies, products and patents</li><li>Knowledgeable in communicating all aspects of product including store collections, best sellers and seasonal product trends</li><li>Facilitate all staff learning to confidently and passionately interact with every customer</li></ul><p><strong>Position Requirements:</strong></p><p> Minimum 2 years’ experience in the retail industry in a results focused and customer centric retail environment (preferably fashion apparel/footwear)</p><p><strong>Education:</strong></p><p> University/College Degree or commensurate retail experience</p><p><strong>Required Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Communication skills - ability to clearly communicate & articulate key ideas and concepts with people at all levels of the business</li><li>Solid people management & interpersonal skills – proven ability to coach staff to increase sales performance & further retail career development</li><li>Strong quantitative analytical skills: can extract and interpret information to justify business decisions</li><li>Strong computer and system skills – proficiency in Microsoft Excel and POS system</li><li>Knowledgeable of business and financial concepts- understand key retail performance metrics, and can connect results to business decisions and personal work tasks</li><li>Organizational skills -
