Job Overview <br />We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to join our dynamic dental team. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.<br /><br /> Duties <br /><br /> Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.<br /> Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary materials.<br /> Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.<br /> Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the Dentrix system.<br /> Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.<br /> Schedule appointments and manage patient flow effectively.<br /> Support front office staff with administrative tasks as needed, including answering phones and handling patient inquiries.<br /> Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive patient experience.<br /><br /> Experience <br /><br /> Previous experience as a dental assistant is preferred, with knowledge of pediatrics and orthodontics being a plus.<br /> Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix or Epic is highly desirable.<br /> Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial.<br /> Experience in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) for dental applications is an advantage but not required.<br /> Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.<br /><br />Join our team to make a difference in the lives of our patients while advancing your career in the dental field!<br /><br />Job Type: Full-time<br /><br />Pay: $27.00-$38.00 per hour<br /><br />Additional pay:<br /> Overtime pay<br />Benefits:<br /> Dental care<br /> Extended health care<br /> On-site parking<br /> RRSP match<br />Flexible language requirement:<br /> French not required<br />Schedule:<br /> 8 hour shift<br /> Monday to Friday<br /> Overtime<br><br>Experience:<br /> Dental assisting: 1 year (preferred)<br /><br />Work Location: In person
