Position Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Contract Term: February to May (with the possibility of extension based on workload)
Starting Wage: $19.05/hour
Location: 6-521 Nottinghill Rd, London, ON N6K 4L4
Start Date: February 24, 2026
Training Dates: Three sessions in February (TBD)

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and professional individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Client Relations / Front Desk Receptionist. This position is ideal for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. You will be the first point of contact for clients—both in person and over the phone—and will play a key role in supporting daily office operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer incoming calls, take accurate messages, and direct inquiries as needed
  • Take clear and thorough notes during client calls to ensure accurate information is passed to the appropriate team members
  • Draft, edit, and send emails and other written correspondence
  • Take dictation and prepare documents when required
  • Collect payments and process transactions through a POS system
  • Update and maintain client files and records (digital and physical)
  • Use and manage filing systems efficiently
  • Provide general administrative support to the office
  • Assist with other tasks as assigned
  • Prepare client tax packages as needed

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency using a CRM program
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Comfortable handling client interactions with professionalism
  • Ability to take accurate dictation and compose clear written communication
  • Basic understanding of POS systems and payment handling
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong note-taking skills while on the phone
  • Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to maintaining a welcoming environment
  • Preferable: tax office knowledge or general income tax understanding
  • Ability to thrive in a very high-paced environment
