<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>Essential Job Functions</p><p></p><ul><li>Maintains a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety standards and practices and to legal regulations, alerting others regarding potential hazards or concern.</li><li>Performs all duties as assigned and adheres to TEAM’s Core Values.</li><li>Determines the target audience of the product and the different ways in which it may be used, by answering and asking appropriate questions and addressing inquiries from customers / plant engineers / branch personnel.</li><li>Handles field calls for service requests and collaborates with field personnel to decipher data and support design requests.</li><li>Develops design drawings and specification for field equipment, dies/tools and controls, using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment. Requires mathematical computation.</li><li>Coordinates drafting efforts on projects and reviews and evaluates preliminary sketches to create more refined drafts applying engineering fundamentals.</li><li>Makes final sketch of proposed drawing, checking dimension of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to another, and relation of various parts to whole structure or project.</li><li>Provides technical advice and discusses design concepts with field personnel and clients regarding designs and creates design packages for customer presentations.</li><li>Presents designs and performs demonstrations of product prototypes for the approval of clients.</li><li>Maintains documentation of design drawings and draws and reproduces illustrations for reference manuals and technical publications to describe operation and maintenance of equipment and components to field personnel and clients.</li><li>Ensures that drafts and sketches align with company procedures, regulations and client standards.</li><li>Handles field calls for service requests and collaborates with field personnel to decipher data and support design requests.</li><li>Performs calculations for designed clamps based on ASME code.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li><li>Qualifications</li><li></li><li>Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, or design engineering.</li><li>Must possess P Eng stamp/Designation for Ontario</li><li>3 to 5 years related work experience.</li><li>Professional Engineering Certification appropriate for the working region.</li><li>Completion of certified CADD program preferred.</li><li>Experience using SolidWorks, UltraPIPE, or other AutoCAD software required.</li><li>Experience with parametric modeling preferred.</li><li>High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, ability to work under time constraints, good interpersonal skills and a high degree of initiative is preferred.</li><li>Ability to read technical documents and engineering specifications is preferred.</li><li>Must be able to work variable shifts and overtime.</li><li>Weekend, holiday and/or on-call as required.</li><li>Travel Requirements: 0%-25%.</li></ul><p></p><p>Working Conditions</p><p></p><ul><li>Work is primarily conducted in a semi-private office/cubicle setting.</li><li>Interaction with other crew employees, as well as supervisors and client personnel.</li><li>Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.</li><li>Variable shifts.</li></ul><p></p><p>Physical Requirements</p><p></p><ul><li>Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds.</li><li>Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits employee to communicate effectively.</li><li>Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation.</li><li>Sufficient manual dexterity with or without reasonable accommodation, which permit the employee to perform routine office duties.</li><li>Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations to perform office duties and travel when necessary to off-site.</li></ul></p></p>Browse Jobs in Canada by City
