Join Titan Trailers Inc., where our team is dedicated to designing the industrys leading transport trailers.</p><p><br /></p><p>Intermediate to Senior Designer Research & Development</p><p>Titan Trailers is seeking a talented Designer at the intermediate or senior level to join our R&D team and play a vital part in innovating our trailer product line. This role focuses on advancing new trailer designs by utilizing Pro-E and CREO software to develop and refine 3D models, ensuring all work meets Titans high standards and adheres to company guidelines.</p><p><br /></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Contribute to the design, drafting, and troubleshooting of both new and existing trailer configurations</li><li>Update technical drawings to reflect the latest Titan standards</li><li>Support custom work orders for in-house repairs</li><li>Collaborate hands-on in the R&D shop to optimize project outcomes</li><li>Communicate with production staff, dealers, and vendors on design-related matters</li><li>Work as part of the R&D team to implement project goals</li><li>Prepare spreadsheets and documentation for R&D purposes</li><li>Report any unusual issues encountered during assigned tasks to the R&D Manager</li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology preferred</li><li>Proficiency in 3D design software (CREO is a strong asset); familiarity with AutoCAD</li><li>Experience designing for the automotive or trailer sector is an asset</li><li>Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities</li><li>Capable of managing multiple tasks and adapting to shifting priorities</li><li>Able to work independently and as part of a team</li></ul><p>Work Environment & Expectations</p><ul><li>Manual dexterity is essential</li><li>Regular interaction with colleagues and management</li><li>Flexible to work varying shifts and schedules; overtime may be required</li><li>Comfortable handling multiple projects simultaneously and adapting quickly to changes</li><li>Able to work effectively under tight deadlines</li></ul><p>What We Offer</p><ul><li>Comprehensive health and safety program</li><li>Engaging and challenging work environment</li><li>Opportunity to collaborate with industry-leading professionals</li><li>Competitive wages and RRSP matching</li><li>Ongoing skills development and training</li><li>Company-paid healthcare benefits and Employee & Family Assistance Program (EAP)</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Regular Hours:<br />Monday to Thursday: 6:00 am 3:00 pm<br />Friday: 6:00 am 12:00 pm</p><p>Some training is available for qualified candidates. Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license are required.</p><p><br /></p><p>Compensation:<br />Starting wage is based on experience and qualifications.
