Changes made to hours of work will follow the terms of the applicable collective agreement, company policy and/or legislation.</p><h3>What you'll do</h3><p>The Director, Information Technology is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the hospital\'s information technology operations. They will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in IT management, cyber security, cloud infrastructure management, and clinical information system management. The Director is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of technology services that support the hospital\'s mission and objectives. This role is envisioned to lead the hospital\'s security office, and may assume the title of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) upon delivery.</p><p>The IT Director must balance competing demands, analyze complex technical issues, and develop and implement creative solutions. They should have strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams. The IT Director will be a strategic thinker who can proactively identify opportunities for organizational improvements and lead the development of technical proposals to support these initiatives.</p><h3>What you'll bring</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field and/or at least 7 years’ experience in a multi-platform technical support environment or equivalent education and work experience required.</li><li>7+ years of experience in the IT industry with increasing levels of responsibility; leadership or management experience required. Ability to manage people and resources, develop IT strategies, and communicate with stakeholders.</li><li>Certified Cloud Security Professional (CSSP) or willingness to enroll and complete within 1.5 years.</li><li>Certificates or diplomas in networking, cybersecurity, or systems administration preferred.</li><li>Completion of training in project management, leadership, or communication preferred.</li><li>Additional technical certifications or training (preferred): CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, MCITP, PMP, ITIL Foundation, CSM.</li></ul><h3>Who you are</h3><ul><li>Strong leadership and management skills to lead IT teams effectively.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across departments.</li><li>Knowledge of cloud-based technology delivery in a healthcare setting (AVS, AVD, Fabric, M365).</li><li>Experience delivering SaaS and cloud-based ERP (Workday or similar).</li><li>In-depth knowledge of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.</li><li>Understanding of emerging IT trends and the ability to align IT initiatives with organizational goals.</li><li>Experience in budgeting and resource allocation for IT projects, with ability to identify cost efficiencies.</li><li>Proficiency in IT project management and multi-project oversight.</li><li>Expertise in IT security and risk management to protect data and systems.</li><li>Familiarity with IT governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Problem-solving and analytical skills for complex IT issues.</li><li>Vendor management for contracts and relationships with IT service providers.</li><li>Knowledge of cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP) and software development lifecycle.</li><li>Experience in IT service management and ITIL practices.</li><li>Ability to stay updated with industry best practices and advancements.</li><li>Strategic thinking to align IT initiatives with business objectives.</li></ul><p><b>Our commitment:</b></p><p>PRHC maintains an inclusive culture of respect and diversity.
