<p>The <strong>Director of Low-Rise Construction</strong> will be responsible for leading the Low-Rise Housing teams' operational performance, including delivering new homes on time and within budget.</p>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<h3>KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES</h3>
<h3>Accountabilities - Low-Rise Homebuilding</h3>
<ul>
<li>Lead, manage, and be accountable for all functional areas of the low-rise homebuilding team.</li>
<li>Ensure operational performance while maintaining top safety standards.</li>
<li>Deliver exceptional customer service.</li>
<li>Develop and execute strategic and business plans.</li>
<li>Meet targets against approved budgets and plans.</li>
<li>Oversee staff performance and development.</li>
<li>Provide strategic advice to the Vice-President.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Leadership & Management</h3>
<ul>
<li>Plan, direct, and evaluate staff performance.</li>
<li>Foster a positive team culture and work environment.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with Cresco policies.</li>
<li>Manage promotions, transfers, hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Construction</h3>
<ul>
<li>Collaborate with the Health & Safety Manager to uphold high safety standards and exceed Cresco's safety expectations.</li>
<li>Maintain schedules to ensure all homes are delivered on time.</li>
<li>Maintain the appearance of communities, show homes, and inventory.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Budgets, Contracts & Purchasing</h3>
<ul>
<li>Oversee budgets and cost tracking.</li>
<li>Implement procurement protocols to stay within budget and ensure smooth construction flow.</li>
<li>Engage with trade partners to control costs and improve product quality.</li>
<li>Drive innovation in products and construction practices.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Financial Performance</h3>
<ul>
<li>Manage profit and loss responsibilities.</li>
<li>Develop and execute plans to maximize revenue and margins while minimizing costs.</li>
<li>Analyze market conditions and competitor activities.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Post-secondary education in management, construction management, marketing, or business, with demonstrated critical thinking skills.</li>
<li>At least 12 years of experience, including 7 years leading a multifunctional construction team.</li>
</ul>
