This role is on an evening shift (3 p.m. to 11 p.m.), Monday to Friday.<br>Reporting to the maintenance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the performance and reliability of all electrical systems on-site while also contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.<br>Your responsibilities will include:<br>- Performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on all facility electrical systems.<br>- Diagnosing and resolving electrical issues and carrying out corrective actions.<br>- Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and technical schematics to perform efficient interventions.<br>- Installing, modifying, and maintaining wiring systems, motors, sensors, transformers, switches, and control panels.<br>- Testing electrical and electronic components using tools to measure voltage, current, resistance, and continuity.<br>- Running conduits through walls, ceilings, and floors and connecting electrical wiring as needed.<br>- Working in coordination with production teams to address and resolve any electrical issues affecting operations.<br>- Supervising subcontractors or junior technicians, when required.<br>- Strictly adhering to health, safety, and environmental programs, and actively contributing to process improvements.<br>- Keeping accurate maintenance and compliance records.</p><p>Your Skills :<br>- Strong electrical diagnostic skills and basic knowledge of automation.<br>- Methodical, organized, and able to work independently.<br>- A problem-solver with a solid sense of responsibility and a collaborative mindset.<br>- We're looking for someone reliable, hands-on, and solutions-oriented-someone who enjoys technical challenges and wants to help keep operations running smoothly.<br>Your Background<br>- DEP in Industrial Electricity or equivalent certification<br>- Valid C License (mandatory)<br>- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment<br>- Basic understanding of automation systems (a plus)<br>- Proficient in the use of electrical measuring tools<br>- Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and codes<br>- Comfortable working evening shifts independently<br>Working Conditions<br>- Annual salary between $72,000 and $82,000 + $0.75/hour evening premium<br>- Full-time permanent role, 40 hours/week<br>- Evening schedule: Monday to Friday, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.<br>- Competitive benefits, including health insurance and group RRSP<br>- On-site parking - accessible location - structured work environment<br>Are you a licensed C Electrotechnician looking for your next challenge in a cutting-edge industry?<br>Send me a message or your resume directly-we'll speak confidentially.</p>
