The Role
We are seeking field and hybrid-based Environmental Scientists to support stack and stationary engine emissions testing, ambient air monitoring, leak detection and repair (LDAR) and optical gas imaging (OGI) projects at industrial and energy-sector facilities. This role involves hands-on field work, data collection, and direct interaction with teammates, clients, regulators and laboratories. Opportunities are available at the junior and senior levels, with clear cross-training and career paths across multiple service lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct and support air emission, ambient and fugitive testing programs, including equipment setup, sampling, and breakdown.
  • Calibrate, operate, and maintain testing and monitoring equipment.
  • Collect, document, and upload field data and reports.
  • Communicate results with project managers, clients, and regulatory personnel.
  • Follow all safety, DOT, and quality procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-year diploma or related technical / environmental / instrumentation experience.
  • Experience using air testing and monitoring equipment such as continuous extractive and dilution instruments, manual sampling methods, FTIR, and IR cameras.
  • Willingness to travel overnight and work outdoors at industrial sites.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability and willingness to work at elevated heights.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Valid driver's license.
