If you have an eye for creativity, enjoy working with your hands, and have a love of flowers and plants, our floral department is the place for you!</p><p>Joining our Floral team will help to enhance your talents, bloom your skills, and captivate our customers with our flower arrangements!</p><p>If you enjoy meeting new people and helping others, the Floral department at 500 Edinburgh Road South, Guelph, is waiting for you!</p><p><b>General Responsibilities :</b></p><ul><li>Receive direct deliveries, stock, and merchandise products</li><li>Process floral orders for customers, including pre-orders</li><li>Create floral arrangements for display and customer requests</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li><li>Support overall store operations, including opening and closing the store</li></ul><p><b>General Qualifications :</b></p><ul><li>Floral design certification is required</li><li>Prior floral experience and product knowledge are required</li><li>Customer service driven</li><li>Strong communication skills</li><li>Strong organizational skills</li><li>High attention to detail</li><li>Able to stand for prolonged periods and work under minimal supervision</li><li>Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays</li></ul><p>The responsibilities and relationships assigned to this role may change as necessary to achieve Metro's business objectives.</p><p>METRO is committed to providing an inclusive work environment that reflects the communities we serve.
