Salary: $40+ based on experience
Welcome toM3 Staffing, we are looking for experienced Carpenters to join our team. *Must have Fall Pro ticket & own Harness.
Responsibilities:
- Installing Handrail & Skirting Down Plywood.
- Installing wooden structures such as roofing frames, joists, partitions, rafters, and stud work.
- Adding fittings and fixtures including door handles, hinges, locks, and closures.
- Selecting lumber as per the requirements of the project and sourcing wood that fits within budget and meets style specifications.
- Ability to assess the quality of woodwork and materials.
- Liaising with personnel to discuss project details and timelines.
- Consulting other construction professionals to ensure the best possible results and the final product.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or a minimum of 3 years experience.
- Additional certification may be required.
- High level of creativity and excellent design skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of building regulations and codes
- Keen attention to detail.
- Blueprint reading skills is a plus.
- Able to use common hand tools and power tools.
- Must have PPE
- Troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Physical stamina for lifting equipment and working at various heights and in tight spaces.
Nice to Haves:
- Have own vehicle or reliable transportation.
- Has Fall Protection, First Aid and/or WHMIS.
- Experience working on high-rise projects
- Tickets in Heavy Equipment Use.
- Live in and have access to sites in Vancouver and Lower Mainland.
