<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>Overview: </strong>We are searching for a creative, flexible technical thinker capable of managing, planning and understanding team dynamics. Responsible for authoring, analyzing and translating User Stories into system implementation. Comfortable and capable in a Full Stack environment, with an emphasis on Backend Development. Able to lead small teams, and work across multiple, concurrent deliverables while working for Lead Engineer and with Project Manager.</p><p><strong>What you will be doing:</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborate, lead and inspire within a team building a world class software system to reduce carbon emissions and waste while delivering social good.</li><li>Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship on a regular basis</li><li>Partner with the Human Resources team to attract and retain high quality and diverse talent to scale the Company’s development team</li><li>Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing best practices and habits</li><li>Design and code in addition to conducting reviews to ensure compliance with development standards</li><li>Contribute to and help evangelize best software development practices including TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery.</li><li>Collaborate with engineers across the organization to identify patterns of problems and implement solutions</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Skills You Have:</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years experience in software and Web development</li><li>3+ years professional combined front-end and back-end development experience</li><li>2+ years of leadership or mentorship experience</li><li>Experience with relational databases and web-based software development is a must</li><li>Advanced understanding of design, implementation and operation of distributed web-based services and APIs</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge and impact using JavaScript and/or Python to solve problems</li><li>Experience with one or more of the following: Node.js, React.js, Redux, Angular.js, Django</li><li>Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field</li><li>Demonstrated track record of owning problems and making an impact with the work you do.</li></ul></p></p>
