<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>General Manager</p><p>Onsite: Lloydminster, AB</p><p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p><p>We seek a highly skilled General Manager with a <strong>comprehensive CNC machining or manufacturing background</strong>, facilities management, manufacturing operations, and financial acumen. This role requires strong leadership, budgeting expertise, and a deep understanding of managing facilities and manufacturing processes.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Financial Oversight:</strong> Lead the development and management of budgets and forecasting for facilities and manufacturing operations. Maintains a budget of $1.5MM, analyze financial data, and manage Profit and Loss (P&L) statements to drive cost efficiencies and maximize profitability. Sits on the team that makes executive decisions.</p></li><li><p><strong>Team Management:</strong> Directly manage and mentor a diverse team of 10 encompassing administrative and technical (welder, millwright, lathe, production etc.). Fosters a collaborative environment, set performance expectations, and provide guidance to achieve operational goals.</p></li><li><p><strong>Facilities and Manufacturing Operations:</strong> Oversee the efficient functioning of facilities, ensuring maintenance, safety, and compliance standards are met. Manage manufacturing processes, optimizing efficiency, quality, and resource utilization.</p></li><li><p><strong>Strategic Planning:</strong> Collaborate and involved with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic plans aligned with organizational objectives. Identify opportunities for operational enhancements, cost savings, and process improvements.</p></li><li><p><strong>Regulatory Compliance and Safety:</strong> Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, safety standards, and industry best practices for both facilities and manufacturing operations. Implement protocols to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.</p></li><li><p><strong>Decision making: </strong>Sits in on senior decision making meetings, makes decisions for the business, quotes on client custom business projects.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Extensive experience in CNC, machining, and manufacturing operations, in a leadership capacity.</p></li><li><p>Proven track record in budgeting, financial analysis, and managing Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, creating quotes for clients within a multifaceted operational environment.</p></li><li><p>Strong leadership, able to lead trades people and team management skills, capable of motivating and developing a high-performing team.</p></li><li><p>Union and non-union experience is an asset</p></li><li><p>ISO 9001 certified or six sigma is an asset</p></li><li><p>Strategic thinker with the ability to drive operational improvements and contribute to long-term business strategies.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.</p></li><li><p>Post education in business or trade/skilled labour or similar.</p></li></ul><p>Salary, plus bonus</p><p>Immediate benefits, company paid premiums</p><p>Stable and growing company</p><p>Relocation assistance is offered </p></p></p>Browse Jobs in Canada by City
