International Senior Buyer – Commodity Panels
.
This is a
strategic, high-impact role
where you'll lead international sourcing and procurement for panel and board products across Canada. You'll manage supplier relationships worldwide — from Asia to South America — ensuring sharp pricing, reliable supply, and competitive market positioning.

What You'll Be Doing
- Lead
international procurement
of wood-based panels and board products (Asia, Brazil, North America). - Negotiate pricing and contracts to maximize profitability and ensure supply stability.
- Analyze global market trends, cost drivers, and competitive pricing structures.
- Develop and strengthen supplier partnerships; identify new sources and materials.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders in
sales, operations, and product management
. - Recommend new products and sourcing strategies to improve margins and market agility.
- Report on sourcing performance, market intelligence, and profitability impact.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in
international buying, procurement, or commodity sourcing
, ideally within
panels, wood products, or construction materials
. - Proven track record in
price negotiation and supplier management
at a global level. - Strong market and financial insight —
"sharp on price, sharp on the market." - Highly analytical, entrepreneurial, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in
Salesforce, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite
. - Based in
British Columbia
or open to relocation (national scope). - Bilingual English/French is an asset.
