Role Overview
This post includes weekend working and is full time at 37 hours per week. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Interventional Neuroradiology team as a Healthcare Support Worker (Band 3) within the Institute of Neurological Sciences. This is a regional service covering the West of Scotland.
Responsibilities and Expectations
- Demonstrate a commitment to patient‑centred care.

- Work flexibly as required and demonstrate flexibility and willingness to participate.
- Collaborate effectively within a team.
- Apply or be willing to develop specific knowledge of Interventional Neuroradiology (previous experience desirable but not essential).
Working Hours and Changes
As from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
Pre‑employment Check
Post requires PVG Scheme membership / Disclosure Scotland check as part of NHSGGC pre‑employment checks for all appointed candidates prior to the start date.
