In business since 1947, Canadian Helicopters is Canada's largest helicopter operator with over 20 locations across the country and a fleet of nearly 100 single and multi-engine aircrafts.</p>Job Description<br><br><p>Based in Southport, Manitoba, CHL has openings for Rotary Wing Academic and Flight Training Device (FTD)<br /> Instructors in support of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) Contracted Flying Training and Support (CFTS)<br /> program. Instructors report to the Chief Rotary Wing Instructor - CFTS and will be assigned duties<br /> commensurate with their qualifications and on-site requirements, including:</p><ul><li>Delivering ground school lectures,</li><li>Delivering FTD lessons, and</li><li>Conducting maintenance support activities as required.</li></ul><p>Period of Work:<br /> This is a full-time position, 40 hours / week.</p>Qualifications<br><br><ul><li>Licence, any of the following:<ul><li>Transport Canada (TC) Commercial Pilot Licence - Helicopter;</li><li>Foreign Commercial Pilot Licence - Helicopter;</li><li>Current/former RCAF helicopter pilot;</li><li>Current/former foreign military helicopter pilot qualification</li></ul></li><li>Hours, minimum of:<ul><li>500 Helicopter Pilot in Command hours; or</li><li>200 Operational Training Unit Instructor Pilot hours for military applicants</li></ul></li><li>Able to maintain TC medical for flying positions</li><li>TC Instructor Rating Class 1, 2, 3, 4<ul><li>Waived for current/former RCAF and foreign military pilots in certain circumstances</li></ul></li><li>TC Class IV Instrument Rating, or equivalent, preferable</li><li>Night Vision Goggle experience preferable</li><li>Must hold a valid Canadian Driver’s Licence or an International Driving Permit</li><li>Must provide satisfactory documentation on request</li><li>Must provide a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test</li><li>Must provide an international criminal background check clearance</li></ul><p><strong>Education</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of a completed University degree, or equivalent applicable knowledge</li><li>Graduation from a certified flying or aviation school</li></ul><br><br>Additional Information<br><br><p><strong>Remuneration</strong></p><ul><li>Annual salary: $110 000.00 to $200 000.00 based on experience.
