The ideal candidate will provide high-quality cleaning services and maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in private residences. A key requirement is the ability to travel independently within Ottawa and ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong>:</p> <ul><li>Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and washing windows.</li><li>Ensure that all areas of the house, including bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and common areas, are clean and organized.</li><li>Laundry duties including washing, folding, and ironing clothes.</li><li>Clean and sanitize high-touch areas, such as doorknobs, light switches, and handles.</li><li>Assist with occasional grocery shopping or running errands as needed.</li><li>Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to the homeowner or management.</li><li>Adhere to safety and cleaning standards to ensure the environment remains safe and healthy.</li><li>Maintain and organize cleaning supplies and equipment.</li></ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong>:</p> <ul><li>Valid drivers license and access to a reliable car (must be able to travel independently within Ottawa).</li><li>Must have a current Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) or be willing to undergo one prior to employment.</li><li>Proven experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or related fields is an asset but not required.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.</li><li>Professional, reliable, and trustworthy.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.</li><li>Must be physically capable of performing cleaning tasks.</li></ul> <p><strong>Benefits</strong>:</p> <ul><li>Competitive hourly wage.</li><li>Flexible working hours.</li><li>Opportunity for additional hours or overtime.</li><li>A supportive and respectful work environment.</li></ul>
