This is a great permanent opportunity for someone who enjoys 3-day weekends (off Friday to Monday afternoon). You will be working in a team environment on the day shift. This is a growing company that is very busy right now. This position is located in Milton for a medium size manufacturing plant.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><strong>ADVANTAGES</strong></p><ul><li>Great starting pay of $30-34/hour</li><li>Permanent position in Milton</li><li>Overtime is available</li><li>Straight day shifts Monday to Friday</li><li>Opportunity for advancement and career growth</li><li>Fantastic team of people that you get to work with</li><li>Great benefits- medical, vision, and dental</li><li>Very clean and organized manufacturing plant</li><li>Great central location in Milton</li><li>Company events, great culture, and working conditions</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Able to read paint specifications and requirements</li><li>Determine and follow the appropriate mixing requirements for single-stage paint application</li><li>Understanding of the requirements for proper application of paint.</li><li>Ability to confirm if bodywork is acceptable and conforms to drawing specification</li><li>Competent in best practices of refinishing preparation</li><li>Ability to work under high-pressure</li><li>Prepare jobs for paint.</li><li>Ability to follow schedule and ensure timely completion of orders</li><li>High drive and sense of urgency.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p><ul><li>3-5 years of industrial spray painting experience</li><li>Experience with wet paint pressure pot application</li><li>Experience applying PPG Delfleet evolution product.</li><li>Able to read product labels to mix paints</li><li>Willing to prep</li><li>Quality checks and mil thickness reporting</li><li>Maintain stock and report requirements on product.</li><li>General maintenance of paint equipment and cleaning as required.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented</li><li>Excellent work ethic with a focused pride of workmanship</li><li>310B certification an asset</li><li>Deftness and attention to detail</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><strong>#INDSTRIVEON</strong></p><p><strong>#LI-SR</strong></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p></p></p>Browse Jobs in Canada by City
