If youre passionate about the trade, thrive in dynamic environments, and want to experience the North, wed love to hear from you!</p><p><br /></p><p>Why Work With Us?</p><ul><li>3 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotation</li><li>Company-paid flightsto and from Yellowknife.</li><li>Furnished accommodationsin our staff house.</li><li>Company vehiclefor transportation.</li><li>Plenty of opportunities for overtime</li><li>Exciting remote worktravel to sites across the Northwest Territories and Nunavut for unique experiences.</li><li>Competitive wagesand a fun, team-oriented environment.</li><li>Career growth & development opportunities<br /></li></ul><p><br /></p><p>What Youll Be Doing:</p><ul><li>Diagnose, inspect, troubleshoot, and repairheavy-duty trucks, trailers, medium-duty vehicles, and off-road equipment.</li><li>Performmechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and air system repairs.</li><li>Inspect and repairtrailers, including brakes, suspensions, wiring, and structural components.</li><li><span >Completepreventative</span> maintenanceand ensure all equipment is operating safely.</li><li>Identify issues and recommendrepair solutions and replacement parts.</li><li>Usecomputerized diagnostic toolsfor troubleshooting engine and system faults.</li><li>Completedetailed repair reportsand communicate findings for accurate work orders.</li><li>Work safely and efficiently invaried weather conditions and remote locations.</li><li>Maintain aclean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Additional Duties for B620 Tank Inspection (Propane Tanks):</p><ul><li>Conduct periodic visual inspections of propane tank trucks and trailers per CSA B620 standards</li><li>Perform leak testing, pressure testing, and thickness testing on TC portable tanks and cargo tanks</li><li>Document inspection findings and ensure compliance with Transport Canada regulations</li><li>Maintain accurate inspection records and certification documents</li><li>Liaise with regulatory bodies and stay current with industry standards and changes in B620 regulations</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>What Were Looking For:</p><ul><li>Journeyman/Red Seal certification (required)</li><li>B620 Tank Inspector Certification (or willingness to obtain; training support may be available for the right candidate)</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience as a heavy-duty mechanic</li><li>Experience inspecting propane tanks and pressure vessels is an asset</li><li>Safety-focused mindset and ability to work independently</li><li>Valid Class 5 drivers license (clean abstract required)</li><li>Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills</li><li>Comfortable using diagnostic tools and basic computer programs</li><li>Ability to work in all weather conditions and remote environments</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Ready for your next adventure?</p><p>Apply throughIndeed, and successful candidates will be contacted via email for pre-screening and to schedule a phone interview.</p></p></p>Browse Jobs in Canada by City
