Receive half after 1 month and the remainder following 3 months of employment! Relocation assistance also available for out of town candidates.</strong></p><p>Reporting to the Shop Foreman, you will work in a fast-paced environment maintaining a fleet of school buses. SOUTHLAND offers a state-of-the-art environment with an emphasis on safety and training. To qualify for this position, you must be a reliable self-starter with strong interpersonal skills.</p><p>Currently hiring for evening shift (3:30 pm - 12:00 am).</p><p><strong>Wage:</strong> $42.00 per hour</p><p><strong>Position Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Journeyperson certification</li><li>Valid driver’s license; class 2 license considered an asset</li><li>Pre-employment drug testing</li><li>Clear criminal record</li><li>Analytical and troubleshooting skills</li><li>Own hand tools</li><li>Fluent in written and spoken English</li><li>Gasoline and propane-powered equipment experience an asset</li><li>Computer skills</li></ul><p><strong>Primary Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Ongoing maintenance/repair of school buses</li><li>Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems</li><li>Respond to breakdowns</li><li>Spring and winter maintenance</li><li>Complete all documentation associated with equipment repairs</li></ul><p>#ZRHP</p></p></p>
