The ideal candidate will have experience working with children ages 15 months to 8 years old or possess pediatric occupational therapy (OT) or physical therapy (PT) experience. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong passion for child development, fitness, and education.<br /><strong></strong><br /><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><br /> Lead and facilitate KidStrong classes using the established curriculum.<br /> Engage and communicate effectively with parents to educate them on the KidStrong methodology.<br /> Create a positive, high-energy environment that motivates and encourages children.<br /> Ensure safety and proper form in all physical activities and exercises.<br /> Support and contribute to team culture, assisting fellow coaches and leadership as needed.<br /> Maintain classroom structure and discipline to promote a constructive learning experience.<br /> Adhere to all KidStrong policies and procedures.<br><br><strong>Experience:</strong><br /> Prior coaching or teaching experience with young children (ages 15 months 8 years).<br /> Background in athletics, fitness, early childhood education, or pediatric OT/PT preferred.<br /> Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics.<br /> Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage both children and parents effectively.<br /> A positive, energetic, and motivating presence.<br /> Ability to work independently and as part of a team.<br /> Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment.<br><br><strong>Work Schedule:</strong><br /><ul><li>Weekdays: 3PM - 8PM</li><li>Weekends: 8 AM - 7PM</li></ul><strong>Qualifications:</strong><br /> Standard First Aid & CPR-C Certification<br /> Vulnerable Sector Check<br /> KidStrong Coach Certification (provided upon hire)<br><br>If you are passionate about helping children build confidence, strength, and independence, we encourage you to apply and become part of the KidStrong Kleinburg team.<br><br><strong><em>Please note that due to high demand, only those moving forward in the recruitment process will receive further communication.
