<p>Join to apply for the <strong>Lead Engineer - Fleet Management</strong> role at <strong>GE Aerospace</strong>.</p><p>21 hours ago Be among the first 25 applicants.</p><p><strong>Job Description Summary</strong></p><p>All activities related to enhancing services technology, integrating customer data, or capturing engine/product reliability, availability, maintenance, safety, and other performance parameters. Includes hourly, nonexempt, and exempt employees, as well as managerial roles responsible solely for these activities. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or focusing on professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.</p><p>The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness, etc.).</p><p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain a safe work environment, product integrity & compliance with GE values</li><li>Proactive leadership within the Airframer Customer Team</li><li>Engage independently with customers</li><li>Report interventions and follow up on related quality investigations</li><li>Issue work orders/dispositions to Technician team and/or coordinate/execute/oversee work scopes</li><li>Implement corrective actions through Daily Management for major maintenance activities or engine-caused disruptions as necessary</li><li>Respond to technical inquiries from customers</li><li>Provide after-hours support as necessary to meet delivery demands</li><li>Respond to non-technical customer inquiries</li><li>Handle data intelligence requests on aircraft status, sales, delivery, strategy</li><li>Deliver customer training and develop/maintain SOPs & guidelines</li><li>Manage local spare parts and tooling inventory, including import/export issues</li><li>Oversee Quality Management: NOE/QEM</li><li>Review ledger invoices with customers for engine work performed</li><li>Support EIS (customer setups)</li><li>Provide backup support for FSEs & assist customer support team as necessary</li><li>Handle engineering disposition requests as required</li><li>Maintain AOG responsiveness at airframer</li><li>Navigate diplomatically through volatile & potentially contentious issues</li></ul><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Advanced experience in Engineering/Technology & Fleet Management, comparable to a Bachelor's degree or relevant experience with a high school diploma</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Characteristics</strong></p><ul><li>Strong oral and written communication skills</li><li>Ability to analyze and resolve problems</li><li>Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Information</strong></p><p>Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes</p><h3>Seniority level</h3><ul><li>Mid-Senior level</li></ul><h3>Employment type</h3><ul><li>Full-time</li></ul><h3>Job function</h3><ul><li>Management and Manufacturing</li></ul><h3>Industries</h3><ul><li>Aviation and Aerospace Component Manufacturing</li></ul>#J-18808-Ljbffr
