<p><strong>Our Client: </strong></p><p>A leading global alternative asset manager is seeking a licensed lawyer with experience in private equity funds and/or alternative asset classes, ideally with exposure to debt-related matters. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, supporting fundraising, fund formation, marketing, and capital management activities, with a focus on open-ended fund products.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Draft and negotiate fund formation documents, including offering memorandums, LP agreements, subscription documents, and side letters</li><li>Support bespoke investment vehicle formations and fundraises, including rated products</li><li>Review investor marketing materials and manage closings of new commitments</li><li>Collaborate with capital management and portfolio teams on capital-raising and debt platform initiatives</li><li>Negotiate credit facilities and other debt instruments</li><li>Manage external counsel on fund formation, fundraising, and debt-related matters</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>JD with 3+ years of relevant fund-related experience</li><li>Background in a major law firm and/or fast-paced corporate environment</li><li>Licensed in Ontario and/or the U.S.</li><li>Experience in fundraising, fund formation, marketing, or capital management</li><li>Debt and credit agreement experience an asset</li><li>Commercial, solution-oriented mindset and collaborative approach</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Ref# LI1326</strong></p><p></p>Browse Jobs in Canada by City
