<p>We are currently searching for an experienced hands-on <strong>Maintenance Team Lead</strong> for our Global manufacturing team. Our ideal candidate plays a key part in minimizing equipment downtime and maximizing asset performance through hands-on maintenance support, technical project coordination, and collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.</p><p><br></p><p>You are a detail-oriented preventative maintenance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, changing manufacturing environment. This position will appeal to someone who is a strong team player, growth oriented and continuous improvement focussed.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Lead and manage the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program to ensure timely and efficient task completion, conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs to ensure equipment reliability and optimal performance</li><li>Manage the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)</li><li>Assist the Engineering Manager and leadership team with capital projects and execute technical projects from planning through successful completion on time and on budget to improve facility operations</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align maintenance schedules with production </li><li>Coordinate work orders, maintaining accurate spare parts inventory, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives</li><li>Ensure maintenance and project tasks align with operational goals, cost-effectiveness, and safety standards to drive overall operational efficiency</li><li>Coordinate technical project work to meet safety, quality, and operational standards</li><li>Prepare project justifications, obtain quotes, and manage vendor work to ensure timely, cost-effective service delivery</li><li>Oversee vendor and contractor relationships, including contract management and supply procurement</li><li>Operate and maintain the CMMS for scheduling, tracking, and reporting on all maintenance activities</li><li>Support continuous improvement efforts to optimize preventive maintenance processes</li><li>Coordinate and prioritize maintenance work orders to minimize downtime and operational disruption, ensuring all work orders are completed in alignment with quality, safety, and operational efficiency goals</li><li>Develop, implement, and maintain a spare parts inventory system or database to ensure availability of critical components</li><li>Order, manage, and maintain inventory of parts and supplies to support ongoing maintenance and projects</li><li>Review and evaluate service provider and vendor contracts periodically to ensure competitive pricing and reliable service</li><li>Ensure safe work environment/comply with company safety procedures, regulatory standards</li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>QUALIFICATIONS:</u></strong></p><ul><li>College Degree or Technical Diploma - Electrical/Mechanical or related field</li><li>5+ years’ PM experience in manufacturing or industrial environments</li><li>Proven ability to perform equipment troubleshooting, minor repairs, and routine maintenance, familiarity with spare parts inventory systems or databases</li><li>Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints and equipment documentation</li><li>Strong project management experience, with a proven track record of successfully leading complex projects from initiation to completion</li><li>Hands-on experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systems</li><li>Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, and external service providers</li><li>Comfortable working independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision</li><li>Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills</li><li>Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision</li><li>Willingness to learn new technologies and participate in ongoing training</li><li>Familiarity with safety procedures, regulations, and use of PPE</li><li>High attention to detail and accuracy in all work</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)</li></ul>
