<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>Position: <strong>Medical Customer Service Representative-Ongoing contract</strong><br />JOB ID: #<strong>16815215</strong><br />Location: <strong>Oakville (In-Office)</strong><br />Hourly Rate: <strong>$20</strong><br />Industry: <strong>Health Services </strong></p><p><strong>Role Overview:</strong></p>Our client in the non profit, healthcare industry is looking for a candidate over the next few months to assist them with medical customer service. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle a variety of clerical, and front-office responsibilities, and be responsible for the following, but not limited to:<p></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Reviews all purchase of service invoice forms/claims sent from PassportONE, ensuring all supporting documentation has been provided in accordance with policy guidelines.</li><li>Completes follow up with the Person Managing Funds to request information required to process submitted claims.</li><li>Communicates Passport funding information related to current funding to <span >individuals/families.</span></li><li>Maintains accurate records and confidential files.</li><li>Other related duties as assigned.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Community College Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent.</li><li>2+ years of experience in a similar role.</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of general office procedures.</li><li>Demonstrated skill in the use of acceptable grammar, spelling and punctuation when word processing correspondence and reports; good ability to detect errors in own work and correct them.</li><li>Effective written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge and skill in the use of Access Databases and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.</li></ul><p></p></p></p>Browse Jobs in Canada by City
