Job Description
<h2><strong>Millwright</strong></h2><p><strong>Full-Time | Permanent | Unionized</strong><br>
<strong>Compensation:</strong> $43.50/hour + $2.00 overnight premium<br>
<strong>Shift:</strong> Night Shift (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM OR 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM)<br>
<em>Flexibility required for Sunday–Thursday or Monday–Friday schedules</em><br>
<strong>Location: </strong><em>Burlington, ON</em><br>
<strong>Training:</strong> 2 weeks on day shift (7:00 AM start)</p>
<hr>
<h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Ensure compliance with all safety regulations to maintain a safe workplace.</p>
<li>
<p>Perform preventative maintenance (PM), predictive maintenance (PDM), corrective maintenance (CM), and general work orders on all plant equipment.</p>
<li>
<p>Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of equipment including:</p>
<ul>
</ul><li>
<p>Conveyors</p>
<li>
<p>Industrial machinery</p>
<li>
<p>Pumps, grinders, fans, and blowers</p>
<li>
<p>Welding equipment (TIG proficiency required)</p>
<li>
<p>Lathes and power tools</p>
<li>
<p>Hydraulic and pneumatic systems</p>
<li>
<p>Packaging and processing equipment</p>
</ul>
<li>
<p>Install new equipment and perform modifications as required.</p>
<li>
<p>Accurately document maintenance activities in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).</p>
<li>
<p>Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards for maintenance.</p>
<li>
<p>Manage work requests, apply corrective actions, and maintain accurate labour and inventory records.</p>
<li>
<p>Collaborate effectively in a team environment while prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced setting.</p>

<h3><strong>Qualifications</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Valid <strong>433A or 426A Millwright License</strong> is required.</p>
<li>
<p>Previous experience working as a Millwright in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.</p>
<li>
<p>Strong troubleshooting and repair skills with both mechanical and electrical systems.</p>
<li>
<p>Proficiency with TIG welding.</p>
<li>
<p>Full working knowledge of hand and power tools.</p>
<li>
<p>Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and stand for extended periods.</p>
<li>
<p>Ability to work in varied conditions (heat, cold, and repetitive tasks).</p>
<li>
<p>Minimum 18 years old, legally entitled to work in Canada.</p>
<li>
<p>Strong English communication skills (oral and written).</p>
<li>
<p>Must supply own tools.</p>
