Job Description
<p>The Painter is responsible for first class workmanship in the preparation of metal materials and the application of high-quality lasting finishes on Badger manufactured products.</p><p>The compensation for this role will be commensurate based on education and/or experience.</p><p>RESPONSIBILITES</p><p>What You'll Be Doing:</p><ul><li>Application of paint to Badger manufactured products (e.g. Hydrovac equipment).</li><li>Follows quality control process by completing inspections for any flaws in between application of coats.</li><li>Conducts preventative maintenance of paint spray equipment and daily inspections of work equipment.</li><li>Prepares metal components to be painted and ensures the proper disposal of leftover materials as per</li><li>legislative requirements.</li><li>Trains and guides employees in the operation, cleaning, and maintenance of painting tools and equipment as</li><li>well as the mixing and application of primers and high-performance coatings to metal surfaces, fabricated</li><li>parts, assemblies, and structures to obtain desired color and consistency.</li></ul><p>QUALIFICATIONS</p><p>What You'll Need For Success:</p><ul><li>Education high school diploma or GED.</li><li>Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience as a manufacturing spray painter required.</li><li>Must be able to carry and move equipment and/or supplies more than 25 pounds.</li><li>Must be able to distinguish colors.</li><li>Sandblaster experience preferred.</li><li>Must be eligible to work in Canada</li></ul><p>What You'll Get In Return:</p><ul><li>Generous weekly pay and overtime opportunities</li><li>Low-cost Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance</li><li>Retirement plan with employer matching contributions</li><li>Attractive vacation programs</li><li>Inclusive Group Life insurance</li><li>Supportive Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that allows for covered behavioral health visits</li><li>Rewarding employee referral program</li><li>Valuable employee training program(s)</li></ul><p><br/>Will be required to successfully complete pre-employment screening, which includes a criminal background check, credit check, driver’s abstract review, and drug and alcohol test.</p><p>#BDGRJobsHP</p>Badger Infrastructure Solutions is the industry leader in non-destructive hydro-excavation (hydrovac) services.
