Qualicare location offers home care services that focus on providing our clients the best quality of life and peace of mind for their families.<br><br><strong>Job Summary<br /></strong>The <strong>Personal Support Worker</strong> is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the clients needs.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br /><ul><li>Assistance with personal care and hygiene</li><li>Meal Preparation</li><li>Light Housekeeping</li><li>Shopping and errands</li><li>Medication Assist/ Reminders</li><li>Ambulation and transporting of clients</li><li>Provide companionship to clients</li><li>Ability to follow care plan</li><li><span >Documentation/Charting</span></li></ul><strong>Qualifications</strong><br /><ul><li>Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student).</li><li>Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain</li><li>Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray</li><li>Ability to travel around location territory</li><li>Access to Internet/mobile phone<br><br></li></ul><br /></p></p>
