This is a hands-on role with no direct reports and is a newly created position to work closely with Sales, Engineering & Marketing to create Pricing Matrix and lead the organisation to AI generated pricing models.</p><p><br></p><p><em>All candidates must be current in data analytics using Pricing software (PROS preferred) and yet also be in a strategic capacity to create the long-term pricing models, AI tools and Pricing Matrix for this North American manufacturer.</em></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Pricing Manager</strong> will be responsible for driving profitable growth through strategic pricing initiatives. You will lead the implementation of comprehensive pricing strategies, leveraging data-driven insights and advanced analytics to optimize pricing across markets and product segments. Working closely with Sales, Finance, Product Management, and IT, you will champion value-based pricing methodologies, manage national account price adjustments, and support the development of AI-driven pricing models. Your role will also involve performance monitoring, risk management, and change leadership to ensure successful adoption of pricing strategies across the organization. This is a change agent role to get the buy-in from senior leaders in Sales & Engineering.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Pricing Manager will have a minimum of 8-9 years of pricing experience from complex manufacturing ( MUST ) Experience with products using Steel, Sheet metal, cross border shipments; experience with global supply chain and similar is a MUST. </strong> Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, and courses in pricing are a strong asset. Deep understanding of pricing theory and proven success in implementing pricing strategies in complex manufacturing environments is a MUST . Proficiency in pricing software and tools—especially PROS Price Management, Infor CPQ, and Microsoft D365—is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills, financial modeling expertise, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams are essential.
