If you have what it takes to be our Project Coordinator and this sounds like a perfect match, we would love to hear from you!</p><p> Position Overview: </p><p> The Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the execution of restoration projects by organizing, directing, and managing various project activities under the supervision of a Project Manager (PM). </p><p> Key Responsibilities: </p><ul><li> Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and project appraisers </li><li> Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines </li><li> Coordinate and assign subcontractors within established budget parameters </li><li> Manage materials selection and ensure timely, accurate ordering </li><li> Maintain a clean and safe worksite, adhering to health and safety regulations </li><li> Obtain necessary approvals for all subcontracted work and any change orders </li><li> Identify, track, and resolve project deficiencies </li><li> Conduct site walk-throughs and secure final client sign-off </li><li> Ensure project milestones and completion dates are met </li><li> Provide regular updates to and support project managers </li><li> Submit weekly job status reports, highlighting progress, issues, and solutions </li><li> Oversee the protection and handling of client belongings during restoration </li><li> Be available to work evenings and weekends, including participation in an on-call rotation as required </li></ul><p> Required Knowledge and Experience: </p><ul><li>2+ years of experience in the construction or restoration industry </li><li> Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)</li><li> IICRC certifications (WRT, FSRT) considered an asset </li><li> Solid understanding of residential and commercial construction methods and applicable building codes </li><li> Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting </li><li> Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines </li><li> A proactive approach and commitment to seeing projects through to completion </li><li> Strong analytical and problem-solving skills </li><li> Willingness to travel occasionally as needed </li><li> Possession of a valid G or G2 driver’s license </li></ul><p> AODA Statement </p><p> ARS Responds Canada encourages applications from all qualified individuals.
