<p>Brunel is Now Hiring for a long-term <strong><u>Project Cost Lead – EcoSys SME</u></strong> on contract with our mining client. This contract position will start out on a <strong><u>2 year, 4x1 rotation in Vancouver, BC</u></strong> and will move to <strong><u>Arizona for an additional 2 year rotation</u></strong>.</p><p><br></p><p> <strong>4-Year Assignment - Mining Project</strong></p><p><br></p><p>We're seeking a <strong>Project Cost Lead</strong> with strong EcoSys expertise to support a major mining project. This role begins in Vancouver for approximately two years before relocating to the mine site in Arizona for the final two years.</p><p><br></p><p><strong> What You’ll Do:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the setup, maintenance, and integrity of the <strong>EcoSys</strong> cost management system.</li><li>Act as the main EcoSys point of contact for cost tracking and reporting across project teams – Subject Matter Expert.</li><li>Support project controls through cost and schedule tracking, variance analysis, forecasting, and reporting.</li><li>Review contractor progress, validate schedule alignment, and monitor earned value.</li><li>Track and process project change notices, update logs, and support change management reporting.</li><li>Prepare and assist with regular cost and progress reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly).</li><li>Analyze design documents and construction updates to identify out-of-scope changes or material variances.</li><li>Estimate and validate costs for minor scopes, changes, and labor or equipment allocations.</li><li>Work with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment with project goals and standards.</li><li>Monitor contractor performance and assist in evaluating risks, impacts, and potential issues.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>
