<p><strong>Please visit www.industra.ca</strong></p><p><br></p><p><em>Industrial / Municipal / Infrastructure</em></p><p><br></p><p>Industra is a multi-disciplined, self-perform General Contractor actively seeking individuals that wish to advance within our organization and feel as though their contributions directly effect the growth and direction of the company.</p><p><br></p><p>We are currently seeking an intermediate to senior level project manager to join our team. This individual will have a minimum 5 years experience and will be well versed in heavy civil and structural construction disciplines. Experience with structures (buildings) and process mechanical will provide added value.</p><p>Only experienced construction professionals will be considered for this position.</p><p><br></p><p>Headquartered in Surrey, BC (Cloverdale area) Industra services across Canada.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>· Develops a cost-effective plan and schedule for completion of project following a logical pattern for utilization of resources.</p><p>· Minimizes exposure and risk by implementing safety standards and quality assurance controls.</p><p>· Coordinates work of subcontractors working on various phases of multiple projects.</p><p>· Oversees performance of all trade contractors and reviews engineering drawings to make sure that all specifications and regulations are being followed.</p><p>· Is responsible for proper administration of construction contracts and for obtaining all necessary permits and licenses.</p><p>· Supervises assistant managers and superintendents, reviews their reports, checks on any reported difficulties, and corrects any safety or quality violations or other reported deficiencies.</p><p>· Tracks and controls construction schedule and associated costs to achieve completion of projects within time and monies allocated.</p><p>· Reports to owner, engineers and portfolio managers about progress and any necessary modifications of plans that seem indicated. Plans, implements, tracks and closeout / turnover of construction projects. Conducts project meetings.</p><p>· Manages day to day operational and tactical aspects of multiple construction projects in a supervisory role.</p><p>· Manages day to day client interactions and expectations, directly or in a supervisory role.</p><p>· Accurately forecasts revenue, profitability and project costs.</p><p>· Manages to and achieves or exceeds revenue goals set for projects.</p><p>· Generates and issues regular internal and external project reporting through company software (Viewpoint).</p><p>· Proactively identifies changes in project scope and ensures appropriate measures are taken.</p><p>· Projects changes in scope and revenue.</p><p>· Administers Submittal Review process between Subcontractors/Suppliers and the owner or owner’s rep.</p><p>· Review field inspection reports from Consultants throughout the lifecycle of the project.</p><p>· Maintain Contract Execution Tracking Log.</p><p>· Keep management others informed about project status and issues that may impact client relations.</p><p>· Periodic and relatively short-term travel will be required on out-of-town projects.</p><p><br></p><p>Job Type: Full-time</p><p><br></p><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Dental care</li><li>Extended health care</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>RRSP match</li><li>Vision Care</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Schedule:</p><ul><li>Monday to Friday</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Supplemental pay types:</p><ul><li>Bonus pay</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>Project Management: 5 years (required)</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Work Location: In person</p>Browse Jobs in Canada by City
