<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>Quality Technician - Internal Posting<p><strong>Title: Quality Technician – (WEEKEND DAY SHIFT – Friday to Sunday 12-hour shifts – 4 hours bonus paid) </strong></p><p><strong>Reports To</strong><strong>: </strong>Quality Manager</p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Run CMM Machines</li><li>Final Mechanical Inspection</li><li>First Off Mechanical Inspection</li><li>Visual inspection of HPG customer products </li><li>Follow strict inspection protocol in performing inspection</li><li>Analyze data to ensure conformance of parts to design intent, dimensional requirements, blueprints and other specifications</li><li>Communicate inspections results to other departments within the company</li><li>Calibration of measuring equipment </li><li>Final product packaging</li><li>Provide training for new employees as required</li><li>Disposition non-conforming material updating NCMR systems</li><li>Perform mechanical first off/final inspections</li><li>Perform other tasks within the department as required.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in drawing interpretations and geometric dimensional tolerances.</li><li>Understands drawing datum structure and manufacturing methods.</li><li>Experience in part layout and inspection setup, use of sine bars etc. preferred.</li><li>Experience in gauging methods, gauge selection, calibration, and gauge R and R’s preferred</li><li>Ability to take precise measurements using specialized equipment and techniques.</li><li>Critical thinker, strong ability to use common sense and make decisions.</li><li>Strong sense of accountability. Strong work ethic and positive team attitude</li><li>Read operating and quality reports to understand technical and operational information about facilities, processes and equipment.</li></ul></p></p></p>
