Quality Technician

Job Description

<p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Tasks </strong> </p> <ul> <li>Follow all safety policies and procedures. </li> <li>Responsible for in-process inspection and test verification for Quality, Food Packaging Safety and other requirements. </li> <li>Ensure all QA bench-top test equipment is calibrated and functioning properly. </li> <li>Responsible for documentation, sampling and quarantining of non-conforming material. Maintains other sample requirements as defined. </li> <li>Must be comfortable working with quality testing equipment at the site. </li> <li>All other duties as assigned. </li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications, Education and Experience </strong> </p> <ul> <li>Associates degree preferred with a concentration in mathematics. </li> <li>Two (2) to five (5) years' experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. </li> <li>Prior quality experience in a similar role utilizing testing equipment, strongly preferred. </li> <li>Candidate must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, effectively communicate, get along with others, positive attitude and well organized. </li> <li>Solid working knowledge of quality processes and related manufacturing. </li> <li> Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Teams, and Outlook </li> <li> Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information. </li> <li> Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines. </li> <li>Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients. </li> <li>Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options. </li> <li>Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment. </li> </ul> <p><strong>Schedule </strong> </p> <ul> <li>Shift schedule is from 4 pm - 12 am which will be including a shift premium </li> </ul> </p>
