Real Estate Law Clerk/Legal Assistant

Agnes Law is a dynamic law firm with offices in Scarborough, Vaughan and Brampton. Our firm is growing and offers a collegial work environment that values the work of all team members.We are seeking an experienced highly motivated and organized real estate law clerk/legal assistant to join our growing team.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
Minimum 4 year of experience working as a law clerk in the areas of Residential/Commercial Real Estate Law. Candidates with experience in Wills and Estates and Business law will be preferred.
Handle 35-45 files per month involving real estate transactions, including sales, purchases, and refinances.
Independently manage real estate transaction from opening to closing, ensuring accuracy and compliance at every stage with minimal supervision.
Must be highly organized, have a keen attention for detail and ability to work under pressure to meet stringent timelines.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills a must in order to develop strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Proficiency with conveyancing and legal software, particularly LDD, Teraview, ONLand, Assyst, LLC etc.
Responsibilities:
File Management, Due Diligence and Communications regarding all residential and commercial real estate transactions.
Facilitating purchase, sale, lease, refinance, and private mortgage transactions of residential and commercial properties.
Facilitating Asset Purchase and Share Purchase Transactions.
