<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>We are currently seeking an Automotive Refinishing Technician for our Salmon Arm location. We offer competitive flat rate wages at 100% full sheet, ranging from <strong>$29 to $34 flat rate</strong> for paint hours plus up to an additional $3/h in production bonuses. Then consider joining our team of more than 600 ambitious people who share our commitment to excellence.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities include</strong>:</p><ul><li>Preparing surfaces for painting by spot filling, sanding and masking;</li><li>Matches colors and mixes paints</li><li>Applies primers, primer surfaces, sealers, base coats, single-stage and clear coats in accordance with manufacturers OEM specifications;</li><li>Documents in progress repairs, including photo documentation;</li><li>Inspects vehicles for flaws after baking and corrects;</li><li>Inspects repaired panels and bodywork to meet quality standards;</li><li>Cleans and polishes painted surfaces and imperfections to meet Craftsman standards;</li><li>Ensures quality control hand off to Autobody Technician is completed;</li><li>Contributes to material usage tracking and consumption.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Red Seal certified or equivalent experience</li><li>Passion for vehicle repair</li><li>Willing to do light body work</li><li>Strong verbal and listening skills</li><li>Takes pride in one’s work and work performance</li><li>Strives to improve and maintain skills</li><li>Has a positive, can do attitude</li><li>Approaches problems as opportunities</li><li>Willingness to be part of an exceptional team environment focused on a shared goal</li><li>Ability and willingness to learn new software/online applications</li><li>Must have a valid class 5 driver&#39;s license with a clean driver’s abstract over the last 3 years</li><li>Must be legally entitled to work in Canada with no restrictions.</li></ul><p>Benefits</p><p>Valuable perks like:</p><ul><li>Extended health</li><li>Professional development</li><li>Certified training and more</li></ul><p>Thank you for your interest in Craftsman Collision!</p></p></p>
