Security Sales Representative

We provide peace of mind through innovative technology, personalized services, and our commitment to safety. Atlas alarms is seeking a dedicated Sales Representative to join our security sales team.
The Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling security alarm systems and related services to residential and commercial customers. This role involves identifying potential customers, understanding their security needs, and providing tailored solutions to ensure their safety and peace of mind. This role requires proven experience in sales, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to respond and communicate effectively to customers.
Responsibilities
- Identify and reach out to potential residential and commercial customers through various channels, including cold calls, referrals, and networking.
- Conduct on-site assessments of homes or businesses to evaluate security requirements.
- Present and demonstrate the features and benefits of security alarm system technology and services.
- Customize security solutions to meet the specific needs of each customer.
- Generating sales leads/ appointments and negotiate contracts and close sales agreements.
- Stay updated on the latest security technologies and industry trends.
- Meet and/or exceed sales targets set by the organization.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in security systems or a related field preferred.
- Strong self motivation, observational skills and attention to detail as well as experience working with a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in the English language.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Have valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
- Qualify to obtain Security License as issued by the province of British Columbia.
