<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities </strong></p><p>Material Cost -stringent material control is required to assure company targets are met .This includes spend, usage ,scrap inventory levels etc.</p><p>Operate Elumetec saw equipment safely and efficiently.</p><p>Read and interpret Travelers /BOM / Drawings to determine material dimensions and cutting requirements .</p><p>Measure and mark material for cutting with high accuracy using tape measures ,calipers and other tools .</p><p>Select appropriate saw blades and machine settings based on material type and desired cut .</p><p>Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on saw equipment .</p><p>Assist with unloading , storing, and organizing raw material stock as needed .</p><p>Collaborate with team members in fabrication , assembly , and finishing departments.</p><p>Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures , including the use of PPE.</p><p>Reports equipment malfunctions or safety issues to supervisors immediately .</p><p></p><p><strong>Qualifications & Experience Required </strong></p><p>2-5 years of experience in the fabrication or manufacturing environment preferred</p><p>Prior experience operating band saws and understanding cutting techniques is a strong asset</p><p>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specification .</p><p>Strong measurements and math skills ; capable of working in both imperial and metrics units .</p><p>Manual dexterity and physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and stand for long periods .</p><p>Commitment to producing high -quality work and meeting production deadlines .</p><p>Knowledge of sign industry materials .</p><p></p><p><strong>Competencies Required </strong></p><p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</p><p>Strategic thinking</p><p>Sign Production</p><p></p><p><strong>Physical Demands </strong></p><p>Moderate to Heavy Lifting</p><p>Ability to work on their feet for long periods</p><p>Ability of using hand tools</p><p></p><p><strong>BENEFITS: </strong></p><ul><li>11 paid holidays</li><li>Floating holiday, paid vacation and sick/ personal time off </li><li>Comprehensive health, dental and vision benefits</li><li>RRSP Matching</li><li>Paid training</li><li>Great company culture</li></ul><p>Pattison ID is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination or any other category protected by law.</p><p></p><p>If you are contacted for a job opportunity, please advise us of any accommodations needed to ensure you have access to a fair and equitable process.
