Senior Data Governance and Data Steward
CGI is looking for a mid- to senior-level Data Governance and Data Steward to organize, train, and activate data governance within embedded stewardship teams. The role supports leaders in implementing domain-driven governance by establishing and mentoring stewardship communities.
Responsibilities
- Promote and socialize global data governance standards for domain-driven stewardship teams.
- Organize, form, and train data domain stewardship communities using reference data, data access, data quality, metadata, and data cataloging capabilities.
- Guide stewardship teams to identify gaps and opportunities, prioritize critical data elements, and focus projects with the highest business impact.
Required Qualifications
Experience and Expertise
- 5+ years of experience in data governance or data management.
- Proven facilitation skills in team discussions and decision-making.
- Ability to run training sessions related to data management capabilities.
Technical Skills
- Experience with Data Catalog tools (Collibra, Alation).
- Experience with Master Data Management tools (Reltio).
- Experience with AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Soft Skills
- Excellent customer and stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Clear communication of complex topics to non-technical business members.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

Compensation
CGI provides a pay estimate of $70,000.00 – $135,000.00, depending on skill level, geographic market, experience, and certifications.
