<h3>The Role</h3><p>Senior Product Consultant for our client in sports entertainment, responsible for defining and delivering a top-tier video experience across web, mobile, and connected devices. You will own the product vision, roadmap, and execution, collaborating with diverse teams to deliver high-quality streaming experiences to users.</p>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Define and maintain the product vision and roadmap for the video player.</li><li>Gather and prioritize requirements from stakeholders, market research, and user feedback.</li><li>Write clear and actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items.</li><li>Partner with engineering, design, PMO and QA teams to deliver features on time and with high quality.</li><li>Use analytics, KPIs, and qualitative insights to evaluate product performance and drive continuous improvement.</li><li>Stay ahead of industry trends in streaming media, monetization models, and emerging platforms.</li><li>Balance competing priorities across performance and features.</li><li>Advocate for the end user while aligning with business goals.</li></ul>
<h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>3–5+ years of product management or product ownership experience, ideally in streaming media, OTT, or digital entertainment.</li><li>Strong understanding of video streaming technologies, CDNs, encoding, and playback optimization.</li><li>Experience with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).</li><li>Ability to analyze product data and translate insights into actionable improvements.</li><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to take products from concept to launch.</li><li>Familiarity with third-party streaming platforms, analytics tools, and player integrations.</li><li>Knowledge of accessibility standards, internationalization, and content rights management.</li></ul>
<p>The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $150,000 CAD per year. We conduct regular benchmarking across various roles, similar industries, and levels to ensure fair compensation packages for all.
