<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>Shop Administrative and Parts Coordinator</strong></p><p>Standard Bus Contracting is currently seeking a Shop Administrative and Parts Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Whitehorse. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a growing company that offers competitive wages, professional growth, and work-life balance.</p><p>This is a part-time position working during office hours, Monday through Friday, and is expected to receive approximately 25 to 30 hours per week dependent on business needs.</p><p><strong>Wage: </strong>$28.00 per hour</p><p><strong>Principal Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide administrative and support to shop staff including data entry, inventory management, organization, and procurement of parts</li><li>Assist with the washing and shuttling of buses to and from service locations as needed to meet operational demands</li><li>Respond to employee inquiries in a timely manner and coordinate between drivers, shop and office staff as necessary</li><li>Liaise with other departments for accurate information related to training, scheduling, and time entry</li><li>Effectively communicate any service changes to the Operations team and external clients</li><li>Assist Operations with any ad-hoc projects that may arise for internal and external reporting or analysis</li><li>Awareness of and participate in improving the Company’s KPI’s</li></ul><p><strong>Knowledge & Skills Required:</strong></p><ul><li>Completion of a college program in Office or Business Administration and/or a minimum of 1 year of related work experience is an asset</li><li>Valid driver's license</li><li>Capable of lifting minimum 30 lbs</li><li>Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, and the ability to learn internal software applications</li><li>Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>High attention to detail and confidentiality and must be fully aware of the sensitivity of the position and act upon it accordingly</li><li>Ability to multi-task and problem-solve while maintaining flexibility</li><li>Ability to maintain composure and excellent customer service in a fast paced and deadline-based environment</li></ul></p></p>Browse Jobs in Canada by City
