Site Engineer

Job Description

<p>I am working with a global construction company, who have a project in Brantford, ON, and requires a Site Engineer to start ASAP.</p><p><br></p><p>The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accuracy in site measurements, layouts, and technical compliance throughout the project lifecycle. This is a hands-on role working closely with site management, design teams, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality construction outcomes.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Perform site setting out and surveying to ensure works are carried out in line with design specifications.</li><li>Interpret and implement construction drawings and plans accurately on-site.</li><li>Monitor and check the accuracy of subcontractor work, providing technical guidance where required.</li><li>Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and design engineers to resolve technical challenges.</li><li>Maintain records of survey data, as-built information, and quality checks.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and procedures.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications & Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction, or related discipline.</li><li>3–5 years of experience as a Site Engineer on construction projects (ICI experience preferred).</li><li>Strong knowledge of surveying equipment (e.g., total station, GPS, laser levels).</li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.</li><li>Good communication skills and ability to work within cross-functional site teams.</li><li>Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy.</li></ul>
