Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Incident & Problem Management:
- Handle and resolve escalated (L3) network and connectivity issues across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring or critical incidents.
- Cloud Networking:
- Manage and optimize VPCs, VNets, subnets, routing tables, VPNs, peering, and load balancers across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, gateways, NAT, and private endpoints.
- Performance & Security:
- Monitor network performance, bandwidth usage, and latency using native tools and monitoring platforms.
- Ensure compliance with network security policies, including ACLs, NSGs, WAFs, and encryption standards.
- Automation & Scripting:
- Automate routine network operations using Python, PowerShell, or Terraform.
- Develop and maintain IaC (Infrastructure as Code) templates for network provisioning.
- Collaboration & Documentation:
- Work with cloud architects and DevOps engineers to support deployments and migrations.
- Maintain detailed documentation of network topology, configurations, and changes.
