<p><h3>Overview</h3><p>Treasurer (Volunteer Position) – Hespeler Village BIA Board of Directors</p><p>The Hespeler Village BIA (Business Improvement Area) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treasurer to join our Board of Directors in a volunteer capacity. This important role supports the financial health and accountability of our organization and contributes to the continued growth and vibrancy of Hespeler Village.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Track expenses against the approved annual budget.</li><li>Pay vendors in a timely manner as needed.</li><li>Prepare and present expense reports and financial statements at monthly Board meetings.</li><li>Participate (virtually or in-person) in one Board meeting per month, held on the second Wednesday from 6:30–8:30pm.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Professional experience in a financial field (accounting, bookkeeping, finance, etc.).</li><li>Strong organizational and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently while collaborating with the Board.</li><li>Preference will be given to individuals who live in or are connected to Hespeler, Ontario.</li></ul><h3>Additional Details</h3><ul><li>This is a volunteer position.</li><li>The Treasurer will serve as a non-voting member of the Hespeler Village BIA Board of Directors.</li><li>This is a rewarding opportunity to use your financial expertise to support the vitality of Hespeler Village while building connections within the community.</li></ul><h3>How to Apply</h3><p>Please email Kelsey Vere, Executive Director for the Hespeler Village BIA, at info@hespelervillagebia.ca with the following :</p><ul><li>Your resume</li><li>A brief explanation of why you’d like to join the Hespeler Village BIA</li></ul><h3>Seniority level</h3><p>Executive</p><h3>Employment type</h3><p>Volunteer</p><h3>Job function</h3><p>Finance and Sales</p><h3>Industries</h3><p>Non-profit Organizations</p><p>J-18808-Ljbffr</p></p>
