Our client is partnering with DMC Recruitment on the search for a commercially driven leader to take ownership of their parts business and unlock its next phase of growth. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, and market insight, someone who can spot opportunity, build a plan, and make it happen.
You will be responsible for shaping and executing a growth strategy that expands their parts business across existing and new channels, including aftermarket and e-commerce. From analyzing data and engaging customers to launching new initiatives and building a team, this role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the business
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for the parts business.
- Analyze parts sales, inventory, and customer data to identify revenue and margin opportunities.
- Engage with customers and wholesalers to gather market intelligence and uncover unmet needs.
- Identify and implement new sales channels, including aftermarket and e-commerce opportunities.
- Lead initiatives such as the launch of an e-commerce platform, including vendor selection and project management.
- Benchmark pricing, source new products, and collaborate with internal teams on stocking and fulfillment.
- Prepare and present business cases and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Hire and manage a small team as the business scales.
- Proven experience driving business growth in parts, distribution, or a related commercial environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategy.
- Experience evaluating or launching e-commerce or aftermarket channels is an asset.
- Solid project management and stakeholder communication skills.
- Business Degree (MBA) or equivalent experience
