<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>Please apply directly to this website >>> </strong><span >https://jobs.fillarole.ca/job</span>-<span >board/jobs/533/construction</span>-helper/kamloops-bc</p><p></p><p>Job duties:</p><p></p><p>Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas</p><p></p><p>Measure, cut and install siding</p><p></p><p>Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades required at construction sites</p><p></p><p>Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt</p><p></p><p>Assist tradespersons such as carpenters, bricklayers, and cement finishers, in construction activities</p><p></p><p>Measure cut and prepare wood framing for installation</p><p></p><p>Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment, signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance in other activities</p><p></p><p>Level earth to fine grade specifications using rake and shovel</p><p></p><p>Assist in demolishing buildings and floors using prying bars and other tools, and sort, clean and pile salvaged materials</p><p></p><p>Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment to keep site clean</p><p></p><p>Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers as directed</p><p></p><p>Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction such as mixers, compressors and pumps</p><p></p><p>Clean up mold as well as remove asbestos and other hazardous materials as required</p><p></p><p>Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>Punctual</p><p></p><p>Drug and Alcohol testing is required</p><p></p><p>Attention to detail</p><p></p><p>Can work independent and part of a team</p><p></p><p>Strong math skills</p><p></p><p>Drivers licence is an asset</p><p></p><p>Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.</p><p></p><p>Ability to work safely and always wear PPE and follow safety regulations</p><p></p><p>Can operate power tools and hand tools safely</p><p></p><p>Clean and organized</p><p></p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>Extended medical and dental after 3 months.
