<p> Our client, a well-established civil construction company specializing in earthworks, underground utilities, and roadworks, is looking to add a Project Manager to their Kamloops-based team. This is a great opportunity for someone with 3+ years of project management experience who is ready to take the next step in their civil construction career. </p><p> Key Responsibilities: </p><ul><li> Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and procurement for civil construction projects. </li><li> Coordinate with site superintendents, subcontractors, and consultants to support daily operations. </li><li> Help track project progress, address challenges, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. </li><li> Support project documentation, forecasting, and change order management. </li><li> Attend and contribute to regular project meetings with internal and external stakeholders. </li></ul><p> Ideal Candidate: </p><ul><li>3+ years of experience in a project management role in civil construction. </li><li> Familiarity with earthworks, underground utilities, or roadworks. </li><li> Mining experience is preferred. </li><li> Strong organizational and communication skills. </li><li> Proficiency with MS Office; experience with scheduling or project management software is an asset. </li><li> Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred. </li></ul><p> Why this Firm?</p><ul><li> Competitive compensation with paid overtime at 1.5x after standard hours. </li><li> Comprehensive benefits package and RRSP matching. </li><li>3 weeks of vacation to start. </li><li> Stable workload with long-term regional projects in the BC Interior. </li><li> Supportive company culture and strong safety record. </li></ul><p> Interested candidates are encouraged to send their resumes in Word document format to lauren.carroll@torustalent.com.
