For our client, we are rewriting a legacy POS backend that services their wholesale customer base. This is an opportunity to work with the architect and lead a small team in implementing a event and message driven solution using serverless architecture. We'll also be leveraging Terraform with the AWS suite of solutions.
Note: Even though it's showing 4 months, there is potential to extend longer
Key Deliverables:
The key deliverable here is a robust backend to support their POS wholesale business.
Required Skills:
- Understanding and usage of software engineering design patterns using Java
- Experience with event and/or message driven solutions as well as the technologies involved, e.g. RabbitMQ, SQS, SMS, Kafka
- Experience building serverless solutions within the AWS ecosystem using Terraform
