This <strong>on-site role</strong> includes <strong>comprehensive hands-on training</strong>, clear <strong>career advancement paths</strong>, and the opportunity to thrive within within a <strong>supportive team culture</strong> that encourages your growth.</p><p>With <strong>over 35 years in the industry</strong>, our client offers <strong>stability</strong>, <strong>global exposure</strong> (including trips to <strong>Japan, the U.S., and Mexico</strong>), and a culture of <strong>Kaizen</strong>, where new ideas and personal development are always encouraged.<br /> </p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><ul><li>Working with Tooling Engineers, lead Moldflow simulation activity for new part development</li><li>Analyze Moldflow results and recommend part design, gating and process changes to improve part quality and process window</li><li>Perform new tool qualification using a scientific molding approach.</li><li>Compare results of molding trials to simulations and revise analysis assumptions to correlate results</li><li>Develops and documents process and set-up procedures</li><li>Provide support to plant requests for trouble shooting Part defects or processing issues.</li><li>Completes MoldFlow related customer documentation when required.</li><li>Support implementation of Scientific/ Decoupled Molding processes.</li><li>Project management including DOE's and process capability studies.</li><li>Performs job in a safe manner and strives to meet or exceed company safety goals<br /> </li></ul><strong>Requirements</strong><ul><li><p>Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.</p></li><li><p>Proven experience with injection molding processes and mold flow simulation software.</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of plastic materials and their behavior in mold design.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication and analytical skills.</p></li><li><p>Adaptability in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.</p></li><li><p>Hands-on experience with plastic tooling and problem-solving in real-world scenarios.</p></li><li><p>Ability to manage multiple deadlines and collaborate across departments.</p></li></ul><strong>Nice-to-Haves (Trainable)</strong><ul><li><p>Moldflow certification is a strong asset.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with CAE, CAD, and DFM tools.</p></li><li><p>Japanese OEM experience is considered beneficial.</p></li></ul><hr /><strong>Why Join This Company?</strong><ul><li><p><strong>Career Growth</strong>: Many employees have grown from co-op placements to leadership.
